Our client, a premier beverage manufacturer, is looking for a Forklift Operator in Pittston, PA. The ideal candidate will need a minimum of one year of Forklift experience (DOUBLE WIDE, sit-down, electric models preferred (HIGH-REACH and STAND-UP DO NOT qualify). In this role, you will be moving stock, and other materials from their storage facility to their production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers.

The Day-to-Day:

Responsible for forklift operation and basic maintenance of forklifts.Inspection of the forklift at the start and end of each shift.Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficienciesOperation includes lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads of materials between shelves, stacking, or onto another type of transportLoading and unloading products from trailers using a forklift and other material-handling equipmentAssist with pallet tags and store products in designated areas within the warehouse, provide and deliver raw materials to production lines as needed, and clean up packaging waste and dispose of it in appropriate refuse containersOperate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and inspection of products and trailers to ensure that quality standards are met

Qualifications:

MUST BE EXPERIENCED in MANUFACTURING/DISTRIBUTION settingMinimum of 1-year forklift experience on DOUBLE WIDE, sit-down, electric models preferred (HIGH-REACH and STAND-UP DO NOT qualify)Must be extremely reliable & dependableExcellent physical condition and coordination

Pay Rate/Shifts:
