Onin Staffing is looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our team as Forklift Operators. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our shipping and receiving operations.

What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator:

Successfully complete Forklift Training Certification programLoad and unload trucksStock inventoryPalletizeScan the Inbound and Outbound trucks when they load and unloadLog in the drivers on the Driver Log; log in the seal numbers on the Seal LogComplete daily forklift checklistMay be reassigned to alternate operational areas as business needs require

Work Experience

Education and/or Experience:

High School or equivalent training and/or at least 6 months of related experience preferred

Requirements/Skills:

Ability to speak EnglishAbility to understand and carry out verbal and written instructionsAbility to estimate speed of moving objectsAbility to count and use simple addition and subtractionAbility to operate industrial equipment including forklifts and pallet jacksAbility to contact with other departments or people outside of the mail terminal on routine affairs, exchanging necessary information on a service or cooperative basis

Physical Demands:

Ability to walk, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds (additional weight may be required with assistance)Ability to work in a warehouse environment with cold, hot, and changing temperatures, medium noise levels, dust, dirt, and changes in lighting
