Job Title: Warehouse Specialist B (WSB)
Department: Warehouse
Reports to: Warehouse and Logistics Manager
Supervises: N/A
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Pay Rate: $25.13 per hour
SUMMARY
The Warehouse Specialist B is an hourly position, and reports to the Warehouse and Logistics Manager. The Warehouse Specialist B is the operations expert for the warehouse and shipping processes.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Transports finished goods by clamp truck throughout warehouse Ensures quality of product by visual inspection Establishes shipping efficiencies Coordinate with quality for hold tag management Unloads and loads finished goods using clamp truck and places on trailers Interacts with vendors Utilizes Warehouse Management Computer System to verify product location Utilizes Warehouse Management Computer System functions to load, unload, and surge materials Unloads direct material and stages during the night shift and/or when the storeroom is unavailable Uses forklift, clamp truck, roll clamp and other related material handling machinery Responsible for tracking and assuring accuracy of inventory Performs and documents necessary CILT Assists with training Ensures a safe work environment through following safety protocols, wearing proper PPE, performing general housekeeping tasks, and participating in safety/5S area audit Supports TPM activities including attending, participating, and updating daily management board

The employee should hold the following abilities:
Must be able to read, write, and speak English Must be able to understand verbal and written instructions Must possess strong organizational skills Must have the ability to multi-task Must have strong communication skills Must work well in team environment Must be able to work independently Must have the ability to do basic mathematical calculations Must be able to secure and maintain forklift driver’s license
Probationary Period
120 days in which you must have good attendance and performance Complete Workkeys Aptitude Test (Math, Graphic Literacy, Reading)
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE COMPENTENCIES
The employee must be able to:
Operate a computer or other keyboard instrument Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Be proficient in SAP system, including RF Utilize plant Tag system in order to communicate any issues
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The employee should have the following:
Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required Related experience and/or training in an industrial environment Must be 18 years or older
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires:
Regular attendance on site and the ability to work varying or rotating shifts Must be drug and alcohol free Exposure to hot/cold temperature- continuously Exposure to noise- continuously Lifting/carrying/moving up to 50 pounds Standing- occasionally Hand/Eye Coordination– continuously Walking – occasionally Twisting- continuously Wrist motion (repetitive flexion/rotation)- continuously Refer to the Physical Analysis of Demands for further details
The hourly rate for this position is $25.13.
