Position Title: 

Shipping - Forklift Operator

 

Pay Rate:

$23.85/Hr. + Shift Differential

 

Sign on Bonus: 

$500 after 90 Days,

$500 after 6 Months,

$500 after 1 Year and an additional bonus at 2 Years

 

Category/Shift:       

Hourly Full-Time/2nd Shift

 

-The plant operates 24/5

 

-Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed; significant overtime may be needed during busy periods.

The Job You Will Perform:

Unload inbound shipments safely and move products to storage locations. Efficiently stack and store the items in the appropriate/designated areas. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances. Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product loaded and shipped. Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using a forklift, pull packs or other power equipment. Maintain the facility’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Daily, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following indicated work methods. Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee tight inventory control and security maintained. Assist in physical inventories. Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the shipping dock as well as the plant. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Always Comply with all IPS Safety policies and protocols. Other duties as assigned by managers and or supervisors/shift leader. Be accountable for all your personal load tallies.

 

 

 

The Skills You Will Bring:

Minimum 2 years’ forklift experience Previous forklift operating experience in industrial manufacturing or other labor-intensive work experience preferred. Be able to read and understand loading instructions. Be able to understand and follow all safety rules. Be able to read and understand machine line up. Able to understand and accurately utilize KIWI. Able to utilize RF scanner and perform cycle counts to verify quantities. MUST be dependable. Able to interpret a variety of instructions given in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
