**Job Title: Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years of age, and possess 0-1 year of related experience. This role requires the ability to read and comprehend instructions, present information effectively, and perform basic mathematical operations. You will be expected to operate forklifts, maintain required certifications, and work in cold temperatures while adhering to safety policies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
+ Read written documentation containing scheduled moves, printout computer screens, and store tickets for accurate product movement.
+ Present information in one-on-one and small group situations to co-workers, including Supervisors/Managers.
+ Perform basic mathematical operations using whole numbers.
+ Operate cleanup broom, plastic compactor, forklifts, and carts.
+ Gain and maintain required forklift certification and license, and complete cart driver training.
+ Key product/move data into terminals on a daily basis.
+ Work in cold/freezing temperatures of 30 degrees.
+ Understand and use Warehouse Management System (WMS) and eventually understand/utilize SAP.
+ Carry out detailed instructions.
+ Maintain good communication skills and interact professionally with co-workers.
+ Work with deadlines and under pressure.
+ Comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal OSHA rules and regulations.
+ Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves, and safety shoes or rubber boots.
**Essential Skills**
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ At least 18 years of age.
+ 0-1 year of related experience.
+ Sit-down forklift experience.
+ Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
+ Ability to present information effectively.
+ Basic mathematical skills.
+ Ability to operate forklifts and maintain certifications.
+ Ability to work in cold temperatures.
+ Understanding of Warehouse Management System (WMS).
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Computer exposure and/or experience.
+ Good communication skills.
+ Ability to work with deadlines and under pressure.

**Work Environment**
You will be working in a frozen food manufacturing environment, which requires comfort with both warm and cold temperatures. Gowning up is required, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Robbinsville Township, New Jersey.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
