Forklift Operator
**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team on the 1st Shift. This role involves handling and transporting materials efficiently while adhering to safety standards and company policies. **Responsibilities** + Operate forklifts (stand-up, propane, and electric) in a high-paced, stressful environment. + Unload raw materials from incoming trucks and place them in designated areas, ensuring accurate counts. + Load trucks with the proper raw materials and finished goods, verifying quantities during loading. + Supply bottles to production lines. + Operate a computer for data entry tasks. + Perform daily checks on forklifts for oil, water, and other essentials, adding as necessary. + Clean work areas at the end of each shift. + Perform additional driving activities as directed by supervision. + Adhere to company policies and safety requirements. + Represent the company positively at all times. + Be available for overtime work when needed. + Understand and comply with SQF standards, ensuring Food Safety and Food Quality. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in forklift operating. + Ability to read and write English. + Basic knowledge of computers. + Forklift certification. + Ability to occasionally lift and/or move more than 60 pounds. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with data entry. + Experience in warehouse and material handling. + Knowledge of operating VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) forklifts. + Experience using RF scanners, reach trucks, and sit-down forklifts. + Inventory management and order picking. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic and supportive team where you can grow your skills and advance your career. The role involves working in various conditions and requires adherence to safety standards and protocols. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, Florida. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
