Job Description:

Location: Portland, Oregon

CoWorx has openings for Forklift Operators in Portland, OR with a leading supplier of wireless communications infrastructure and mobile products, who stocks a wide variety of infrastructure products. These positions work 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and have range in pay from $20 to $23 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Unload inbound shipments, check inbound materials in, receive material into the prelude
system, label, and put away materials with a barcode scanner.
• Review material with customers.
• Loads customers with the forklift.
• Organizes and sort material
• Use the Vast app to scan and true up material.
• Participates in weekly Company Big Goal meetings.
• Displays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and procedures.
• Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.

Desired Background/Skills:

• Must be able to operate a standard forklift.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead.
• Must be able to work under deadline pressure as organizational skills are the key to finding and
providing merchandise quickly and accurately for customer orders.
• Experience using a handheld scanner.
• Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience required: 1 year warehouse experience.
• Ability to read and write in English. Basic math skills.
• Customer Service skills required.
