**Hiring for a Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator to join our team on a contract basis until the end of 2025. The successful candidate will work alongside another warehouse worker and will be responsible for various tasks including kitting parts, packaging orders, picking orders, assembling products, and organizing and monitoring the racking. **Responsibilities** + Unloading shipments from trucks using a forklift + Spending approximately 50% of time operating a forklift, with flexibility required + Learning the warehouse layout and safety protocols before operating the forklift + Receiving and cross-checking incoming orders + Lifting boxes and orders onto pallets + Completing basic paperwork for received shipments + Cleaning the workspace during downtime + Assisting in production tasks as needed **Essential Skills** + Valid High Reach Forklift certification + Valid SDCB Forklift certification + Minimum 1 year of experience operating high reach and SDCB forklifts in a manufacturing environment + Experience using a manual pallet jack + Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs. + Good communication skills, with the ability to read and write in English **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Personable and able to adapt to new environments and teams + Hardworking and self-motivated + Positive attitude and encouraging to others **Why Work Here?** Join a positive and friendly team that is committed to continuous improvement. The warehouse can become very hot in the summer, with temperatures reaching up to 35 degrees Celsius, but fans are provided to help manage the heat. The facility is bright and clean, though it can be noisy due to the use of power tools. The standard schedule is Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break and two additional breaks, one in the morning and one at the end of the day.
