**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** Candidates will be driving a sit-down propane forklift and completing material handling tasks. Responsibilities include keeping work cells supplied with containers, parts, and materials. Additionally, candidates will verify products with part numbers and update all necessary paperwork. Additionally, a 15% shift premium is provided for 2nd and 3rd shifts. **Work Environment** The facility is a brand new, large, clean, well-ventilated, and bright space. It includes CNC machines, press machines, and automated assembly lines, with Fuji CNC machines among the equipment. The facility has a front and back section, with plans to expand operations to the back section soon. There are about 8 bays for trucks and the facility employs around 150 people with 30 lathe machines. The environment can be loud, but communication is possible when standing next to a person. The dress code includes jeans, company-provided shirts, and non-slip shoes or boots. Eye protection is also required. No shorts or tank tops are allowed. The work schedule includes 7 days of work per week, with rotating weekends off, working 50-55 hours per week. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelby Township, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
