Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

The candidate will start as a Shipper/Receiver and Order Picker for a new facility. They will be required to operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift in a narrow aisle room and load/unload trailers. Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. is required. Strong attention to detail is needed. The candidate must be skilled on a sit-down counterbalance and comfortable working with tall pallets for safe operation. The candidate will mostly work using high reach forks to bring down the pallets. They will also handle loading/unloading trailers for internal transfers between buildings, using RF scanners to verify orders, and ensuring accuracy in shipment orders.

Work Environment

The company promotes a positive work environment with an 'open door' policy. Limited employees get Saturday and Sunday off, with a few hours of overtime expected. Each shift consists of about 30 people. Day shift runs from 6 am to 2:30 pm, and weekend work is required. Steel toe boots that cover the ankles are required, and comfortable clothing is allowed in the relaxed atmosphere.
