Forklift Operator
**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are looking for a 2nd Shift Hi-lo Operator to assist with our current Three Rivers project in the Detroit facility. This role involves operating a forklift to move materials throughout the warehouse, counting inventory, and maintaining a clean work area. The candidate will also need to communicate effectively with truck drivers and customers. **Responsibilities** + Counting inventory + Moving material throughout the warehouse on a forklift + Keeping work area clean and tidy + Communicating with truck drivers/customers **Essential Skills** + At least 2 years of recent electric forklift experience + Proficiency in driving a sit-down electric forklift + Cycle counting or inventory counting experience (at least 6 months) + Proven attendance record (verified by references) + Valid Driver's License **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Steel Toed Boots **Why Work Here?** Sunday is always double time. The company offers an excellent benefit package including health, dental, vision, and 401K upon direct hire. **Work Environment** The work environment consists of a warehouse/production floor that is very clean and well-lit. Safety is of utmost importance. The dress code includes wearing jeans, a shirt with no logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots. The 2nd shift schedule is Sunday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with training on 1st shift for at least the first week (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM). Overtime on weekends may be required, potentially twice a month on Friday/Saturday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
