To transport material to production line, warehouse, or to load/unload trucks using motorized lift equipment

In this position you will have the opportunity to: Using motorized lift equipment, transports material to designated areas May load/unload trucks May feed units onto feed rolls of sander and remove units from outfeed rolls at sawline May remove and install units on infeed and outfeed rolls to paint booth May lift and arrange units in warehouse Monitors units for defects; removes defective boards May move paint totes to storage, refill storage tanks Daily inspects forklift and completes report form Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations

 

What do I need to be successful?

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of general equipment maintenance. Time management skills. Demonstrated mechanical ability. High School diploma or equivalent  Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations  Good hand/eye coordination  Must be forklift certified  Ability to drive looking backwards Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.

 

Education:

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience:

1 – 2 years’ experience in equipment operation. Or any equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of this position.
