Description Immediate Need for Stand-Up Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate in Shakopee, MN!

Shift: 

Friday – Monday – 6:30am -5:00pm

Payrate: $24.50/hour

Looking for dependable hard working Forklift Operators to work at our client in Shakopee, you will be paid $24.50 to work (4) 10 hour days. May need to do overtime 1 additional day a week. Will be paid. 

This role is temp to hire, if you prove to be a dependable hard working associate, you will be hired on by our client, and receive $1.00 raise upon getting hired.

Job Description:

Organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns (e.g., pallet storage, trailers); up-stacking/down-stacking empty pallets; and up-stacking/down-stacking freight. Manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment. Provide basic maintenance to equipment (e.g., clean, inspect). Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases; inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage; cutting shrink wrap as needed; and maintaining records, logs, and forms. Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions. Ask about our Attendance Bonus!!

Requirements: 

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Minimum of one year of Stand-Up Forklift experience required Ability to read, do basic mathematics, understand and respond to written and verbal instructions in English for the purposes of safety, work instructions, policies, etc. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and walk in high traffic areas The ability to input data into various WMS computer systems Complete Drug Screen and Federal Background Check Work overtime as assigned Current requirements will be to work at least 1 additional day

Skills:

• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and the capacity to transact system information in a productive manner.
