**IMMEDIATELY HIRING** skilled forklift operator to take on a **FULL TIME** opportunity in the **Quakertown, PA area.** The ideal candidate will have experience with sit-down forklifts and be able to lift up to 70 lbs regularly. This role involves working throughout the location, moving a variety of skids daily, staging areas, and loading trucks with pallets of bagged mulch and topsoil products. The majority of the work is performed outside in all seasons, and candidates must be comfortable operating forklifts on uneven surfaces such as crushed stone. Please review the information below and if interested apply by submitting your resume with the best contact information for us to reach out and speak further about this opportunity and next steps. **Responsibilities** + Assist designated machine operator or production team in various functions including maintenance, clean-up, yard work, warehouse, production, utilities, and material handling. + Manually move freight, stock, or raw materials and finished products. + Use personal protection equipment at all times and follow all safety regulations. + Report any unsafe conditions or defective equipment to the supervisor immediately. + Attend weekly safety meetings. + Clean machinery and maintain surrounding areas free of debris during downtime. + Operate machinery or equipment as trained and instructed following safety guidelines at all times. + Assist lead operator in preparing for shift production. + Work closely with the lead operator and become knowledgeable of the mechanics and operation of the machine you assist. + Operate equipment such as hoppers, bagging and sealer machines, forklifts, palletizers, hydraulic equipment, powered tractors or vehicles, etc. (internal certification/training required). + Operate a variety of hand tools. + Assist in the loading/unloading of trucks and completing shipping/receiving documents. + Package and label products properly. + Handle stockpiles and verify loads leaving the premises. + Maintain, verify, and count product inventory. **Essential Skills** + Sit-down forklift experience. + Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly. + Willingness to work outdoors year-round. + 6+ months experience on sit-down diesel forklift or similar heavy equipment (skid steer). **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
