Our client, an Industrial leader, is seeking a Forklift Operator to join their team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be part of the Material Handling department supporting a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to safety, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Forklift Operator
**Location:** Seelyville, IN
**Pay Range:** $17.50 per hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Work 2nd shift, 2pm-10:30pm+ OT as needed
+ Identify, transport, pack, remove, and dispose of products and materials.
+ Operate forklifts, handcarts, or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load/unload orders.
+ Maintain inventory levels as directed and feed lines with product as scheduled.
+ Count, weigh, and record numbers of units or materials moved or handled.
**What's Needed?**
+ Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) or willingness to learn.
+ Ability to obtain forklift certification within 90 days.
+ Ability to operate stand-up and extended forklifts.
+ Basic math skills and ability to understand safety policies and procedures.
+ High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
