**Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at a building products wholesaler. This role involves using a hyster sit-down forklift to stock the warehouse with building products. The ideal candidate will have experience with sit-down forklifts and extensive experience with RF scanners. Combilift experience is heavily preferred. **Responsibilities** + Operate a hyster sit-down forklift to stock the warehouse with building products. + Replenish dedicated locations within the warehouse. + Pull orders using RF scanners and manually as required. + Work independently in designated areas, including colder sections of the building. + Utilize pallet jacks frequently, especially when working outdoors but under cover. **Essential Skills** + Sit-down forklift experience is required. + Experience with RF scanners. + Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations. + Ability to perform basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. + Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. + Ability to perform all job functions safely. + Ability to regularly lift/move/manipulate up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. + High School diploma or general education degree (GED). + 1 year of related warehouse experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Military experience preferred. + Consistent work history. + Combilift experience is heavily preferred. **Why Work Here?** We offer a range of benefits including medical and dental insurance with up to 70% employer paid, vision insurance, HSA with up to $1,000 annual employer contribution, 401(k) plan with up to 3.5% employer contribution, personal time off and paid holidays, free life and disability insurance, free employee assistance program (EAP), free gym membership, and employee discounts.
