Weatherford, a leading organization in the Oil & Energy industry, is seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator II to join our Geozone Operations team. In this role, you will operate specialized lifting equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and equipment within our facilities. As a Forklift Operator II, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance while contributing to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other powered industrial trucks to load, unload, transport, and stack materials, products, or pallets Material Handling/ Movements, loading and offloading  Inspect equipment before and after use, ensuring proper functioning and safety Follow established safety procedures and guidelines when operating machinery Maintain accurate records of materials moved and inventory levels Secure and properly store materials and equipment after use Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area Communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers, and other personnel

Skills:

Ability to operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down counterbalanced trucks, stand-up narrow aisle trucks, and reach trucks Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operation Proficiency in maneuvering forklifts in tight spaces and loading/unloading materials Ability to read and interpret product labels, shipping documents, and inventory records Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy Physical strength and stamina to operate heavy machinery for extended periods Effective communication skills to coordinate with supervisors and other team members

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of related experience in operating forklifts, cranes, and other lifting equipment High school diploma or equivalent is required. Valid forklift truck operator driving licenses  Any additional relevant certifications or licenses are considered an asset Able to work Shift duties
