Overview
To adequately and efficiently transport product, raw materials, etc. from location to location within the manufacturing facility. Ensure all product is transported in a safe manner.
What you will do:
Reads/interprets shipping schedules, stages doors, sorts by length, width, customer, core type to create correct stacks for shippingStages for shipping once wrappedConduct pre-shift inspection of the forklift to ensure safety and operational complianceFuel forklifts as requiredProvide safe operation of forklift throughout the facility. Abide by all safety rules and regulations required with forklift operationPull all production wrap lines as requiredConsolidate all orders for shippingReceive items into the facility/Ships all items correct to the customerPay attention to detail when pulling items from Wearhouse based on work orderMust be able to work extended hours and overtime as needed both daily and on weekends if business need requiresReplace pallets/runners as necessary to maintain a safe working environmentMust understand all shipping documents in order to understand the space required for productDirects work of warehouse attendants and operators to efficiently expedite the loading and unloading of materialsWill also perform other related duties as assigned, which may not be specifically listed in the job descriptionMaintain a safe and clean work environmentOther duties as assignedWhat you will need:
