Job Overview The incumbent performs as the installation Formal Training Manager and all its associated programs. Work Model: Onsite/Office-Based Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Process Professional Military Education (PME) and Technical Training (TT) quotas for military personnel required to attend school. Process PME and TT school quotas for all civilian personnel required to attend school to include reviewing, verifying funding and making recommendations to the approving official. Ensure all Distance Learning (DL) broadcasts are registered, set-up, stocked, and presented as scheduled. Document all completed broadcasts and ensure documentation is prepared and forwarded to the applicable agency. Other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Mandatory: Must be qualified under the Office of Personnel Management standards for the Education Services Series, 1740 career field, Education Services Series, 1740 and Individual Occupational Requirements Degree. Bachelor’s Degree accredited by the US Department of Education that includes or was supplemented by at least twenty-four semester hours in one or a combination of areas: counseling; tests and measurement; adult education; educational program administration; curriculum development or design; teaching methods, guidance and counseling; career planning; occupational information. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license required. Ability to acquire and maintain government identification/common access card. Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations. Ability to successfully pass any background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract. Must be able to read, write and speak English. U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
