If you\u2019re a quick learner, enjoy teamwork, and want to make an impact, this role is perfect for you! ------------------------- What You\u2019ll Do: Safety Champion * Follow all safety procedures and hold teammates accountable to do the same. * Be proactive in spotting and fixing hazards to keep the work environment safe. * Report any incidents or unsafe conditions to the Plant and Safety Managers immediately. * Model safe practices in everything you do and ensure OSHA and plant standards are met. Production Support * Safety always comes first, but you\u2019ll also learn how to keep production on track. * Get familiar with managing the crew rotation and break schedules. * Team up with the Former Operator to oversee packers and the belt team. * Learn how to perform "Make Ready" and machine setup for each job. * Use the crane/hoist system safely and efficiently. * Understand job jackets to know all specifics for each project, including customer samples. * Help reach production goals by checking for quality, minimizing waste, and documenting key metrics. * Assist with setting up delivery, glue systems, and code printers for each job. Quality Assurance * Keep product quality on point by ensuring all quality standards and the control plan are followed. * Handle raw material rejections correctly and ensure questionable products are either fixed or flagged. Maintenance & Housekeeping * Jump in to assist with machine maintenance when necessary. * Keep your equipment and area tidy and organized, taking pride in a clean workspace. * Ensure all preventative maintenance is completed according to schedule. Performance Excellence * Engage in activities that support performance excellence and continuous improvement.
