Job Description:

Location: Danvers, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring a Forming and Fabrication Specialist in Danvers, MA! This role is responsible for shaping, assembling, and modifying metal and non-metal components using various forming and fabrication processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with machinery, tools, and techniques such as bending, cutting, and finishing, with a strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications.

Hours: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday, pay based on experience level – 3 years+ exp.
Pay rate: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to produce accurate components.
Operate forming and fabrication equipment.
Follow drawings for tubular (thin wall) hand forming assembly.
Perform layout, measurement, and marking of materials to prepare for fabrication processes.
Fabricate parts and assemblies to tight tolerances, ensuring quality and dimensional accuracy.
Conduct inspections during and after fabrication to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other production staff to optimize manufacturability and performance.
Maintain equipment and work area in a clean, safe, and organized condition.

Desired Background/Skills:

High school diploma or GED; technical training or certification in metal fabrication or welding.
3+ years of experience in metal forming and fabrication.
Proficient in the use of fabrication tools and machinery.
Ability to use micrometers, gage blocks, and calibers for quality checks.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Strong math and measurement skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
