FORMULATION TECHNICIAN (Naucalpan, MX-Onsite)
Our Formulation Technician will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of products, complying with Sun Chemical’s policies and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. This role will focus on developing color matches to meet customer needs, contributing to the reduction of obsolete inventory, and performing laboratory tests to improve performance indicators and minimize non-conforming products.
Key Responsibilities:
Comply with Sun Chemical, SGC, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 procedures. Ensure quality, best practices, and environmental care. Improve product cost and performance. Ensure market competitiveness. Meet customer needs. Achieve DETOX recovery objectives. Contribute to reducing obsolete or backlogged inventory. Perform necessary laboratory tests. Improve technical area KPIs. Reduce the generation of non-conforming products (NCPs).Requirements:
Education Level: Technical degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Laboratory, or Graphic Design. Experience: 1 to 3 years in similar positions. Industry Experience: Chemical or manufacturing industries. English: Basic level required.Skills:
Knowledge of using equipment such as analytical balances and spectrophotometers. Understanding of chemistry, color theory, material tinting, product formulation, and printing processes. Strong teamwork skills. Integrity and adherence to procedures and standards.
