Machine Operator (Nights)

SUMMARY
Operates an encapsulating machine to produce products from pre-mixed ingredients, insuring proper temperatures, machine settings, equipment set-ups, in process measurements, and quality product.

Hours: 7pm-7am (2-2-3 schedule) - 6% shift differential
What will you do?
Reads job specifications from the Batch Production Record to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.Observes machine operation. Makes adjustments as needed. Takes samples of product and performs in process testing.Performs all checks as required and documents activities. Is responsible for maintaining all required documentation in accordance with the Work Instructions of Banner Pharmacaps.Assists Set-Up person to set up machine, empty basket and clean and prepare machine for changeover. Also assists with the actual changeover.Notifies Lead Operator when issues occur with equipment or product. Is responsible for correcting issues effecting product quality.Spreads product as required.Assists with clean up and other Encapsulation duties as needed. May perform other reasonable, related business duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED or equivalent, plus 1 year of related experience, including troubleshooting, repairing, and adjusting machinery.
