Description:The Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) is a seven year Single Award ID/IQ contract for maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems. The ATMP portfolio includes ~250,000 live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS located at 422 sites worldwide. The primary customer is PEO STRI in Orlando, FL. PEO STRI’s published vision for ATMP is integrated, one-stop, world-wide maintenance and sustainment for Army Program of Record (POR) TADSS.
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of TADSS-CCTT (Close Combat Tactical Trainer) Ground devices. The Electronic Technician II will be part of a team of technicians, coordinating their efforts to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices to the CCTT. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment IAW Technical Specification and Documents of fielded CCTT. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may provide technical guidance to other technicians. Electronic Technician II shall diagnose equipment malfunctions, devise effective repair strategies, and ensure the timely restoration of equipment to its normal operation. Additionally, they will document all maintenance actions by inputting data in the MIS Database system, assess the performance / reliability of repaired equipment, providing guidance and training to their team members as needed.
Candidate must be able to obtain an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. US Citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications:
Associate degree in electronic technology (or equivalent), certification in Basic Systems Technician (BST) or Associate Certified Electronics Technician (CETa) and three years’ experience in a related discipline or three years related military training or a combination of education and experience.
Individuals with either an associates in Electronic Technology, Basic Systems Technician (BST) or Associate Certified Electronics Technician (CETa) would be competitive in the technician resume pools.
Must be able to use tools and test equipment to troubleshoot a circuit down to component level.
Experience with Microsoft office software operation and use
Must possess good written composition and verbal communication skills.
Ability to express facts and rationale.
Must be able to stoop, bend, lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
Needs experience using DMM, power supply, and multiple hand tools.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment as necessary.
Perform electrical/mechanical adjustment, remove, and replace failed components, and make repairs on equipment.
Document all maintenance actions by inputting data in the MIS Database system.
Perform maintenance IAW Technical Specification and Documents of fielded TADSS.
Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and drawings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
