Overview
Under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Foster Home Supervisor is responsible for maintaining foster home compliance with regulatory and agency requirements. This position must become well-versed in foster care regulations and contracts, have great interpersonal and communication skills, and be comfortable providing training, constructive feedback, and correction to foster parents.
Responsibilities
+ Maintains a database of foster home file requirements and makes regular reports to Program Directors, the Quality Assurance Manager, and the Executive Director.
+ Contacts families by phone, Teams, email, or in person to obtain needed documentation.
+ Responsible for maintaining file compliance and preparing files for monthly, quarterly, and annual audits.
+ Conducts or coordinates required ongoing training of foster parents.
+ Conducts or coordinates, with Licensing Specialists, required onboarding training of foster parents.
+ Communicates to foster parents when training is needed and ensures trainings are completed before they are due.
+ Assists program staff in completing home studies for foster parents.
+ Assists Program Directors in identifying trainings and resources that could benefit foster parents.
+ Works in consultation with multiple StepStone foster care programs to provide needed support to staff and families.
+ Provides recommendations to program staff regarding needs and strengths of foster parents.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in human services.
+ Preferred candidates have experience in foster care or other industries regulated by the Cabinet for Health and Family Services, familiarity with child welfare practices and regulations, and at least two years of experience training or teaching.
+ Must have good organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work with diverse populations, strong computer software skills, and be capable of working flexible hours.
+ Travel up to 75%
+ Travel is required and with reimbursement and/or company vehicle provided by StepStone.

Salary Range
USD $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 / Year
