Foundation Intern
Description Location: UCHealth UCHlth Harmony Campus 2315, US:CO:Fort Collins Department: NoCO Foundation FTE: PRN, but expect between 15-20 hours per week (30-40 hours per pay period - paid every 2 weeks) Shift: Days Duration: Budgeted through the end of the year with possibility of regular hire. Pay: $20.00/hour for undergraduate, $25/hour for graduate Summary: This internship offers hands-on experience in communications, storytelling, and event coordination. The intern will support a variety of projects that help share the mission and impact of UCHealth Northern Colorado Foundation. Key responsibilities include writing content for digital and print communications, assisting with donor and employee storytelling efforts, supporting social media and email campaigns, and helping plan and execute events. This is a great opportunity for a student who is creative, detail-oriented, and interested in using their skills to make a difference in our community. Responsibilities: + Compiles data for specified department. + Understands the organization of the specified department and assists with general day-to-day tasks. + Attends events as a representative of the organization. + Protects confidential information in accordance with policies and procedures. + Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action. Requirements: + High school diploma or GED. Must be enrolled and attending an accredited degree program in a related field. Intern must be able to provide proof of progress toward completion of program. Interaction or training in specified area. Preferences: + Pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree in communications, journalism, business, marketing, public relations, or a related field.
