Overview The Foundation Program Specialist will be pivotal in managing our local grantmaking program and supporting employee volunteerism initiatives. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Oversee the operational aspects of the Beazer Charity Foundation, ensuring efficient processes and compliance with organizational standards Manage funding requests and issue grants through our third-party platform, maintaining accurate records and timely communications Assist in planning and coordinating enterprise-wide signature events to support our philanthropic goals and enhance community engagement Support local market volunteer events through logistical coordination as needed, collaboration with local non-profits, and communication to encourage employee participation Gather feedback from participants post-event to assess impact and identify areas for improvement for future initiatives Collaborate with the Finance team and external partners to ensure compliance with audit and reporting requirements Manage tools for tracking impact, data collection, and reporting to provide actionable insights Conduct research on potential grantees, maintain ongoing communication with current grantees, and compile comprehensive progress reports for internal stakeholders Contribute to the growth of our network of Charitable Engagement Champions by providing resources and support for employee-led volunteer activities and local grantmaking initiatives Education & Experience Proficiency in grant management software or CRM systems, Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft SharePoint Skills & Abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and commitment to follow-through Ability to cultivate relationships with diverse stakeholders in a collaborative environment Willingness to travel as needed (up to 10%) Adaptability to a fast-paced setting that merges corporate and non-profit cultures Interest in corporate responsibility, philanthropy, or non-profit work Proven project coordination and organizational skills Understanding of risk management processes Experience in event planning or fundraising is a plus Physical Requirements Typical office environment Ability to lift 30+ pound boxes five percent of the time Additional Responsibilities The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
