FP& A Analyst
Description We are looking for an FP& A Analyst with strong Power BI experience to join our team in Naperville, Illinois. As an FP& A Analyst, you will be carrying out crucial financial analyses, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis. You will also be expected to create and produce financial reports using Power BI (including DAX). Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and reports to support business initiatives and management requests • Develop and maintain intricate financial models and forecasts to aid in strategic planning and business decisions • Participate in the company-wide budgeting process, including data collection, budget preparation, and budget performance monitoring • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, and operations to collect data and provide financial guidance • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements • Assist with the creation of presentations for senior management • Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and provide insightful commentary on key financial performance indicators (KPIs) • Develop, maintain, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all departments • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Requirements • Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role as an FP& A Analyst • Proficiency in Power BI or Microsoft Power BI is essential, including DAX • Proficiency in Adaptive Insights is required • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is crucial • Strong knowledge of Accounting Functions is mandatory • Proven track record in managing Annual Budgets • Experience in carrying out Budget Processes is necessary • Expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) is required • Experience in KPI Reporting is a must-have skill • Candidates should have a strong background in Financial Reporting Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
