FP&A Analyst
A specialty manufacturer near Missoula, Montana, is looking for an FP&A Analyst to add to their growing team. This innovative and growing company prides itself on using American-made materials for their American-made products.
We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a DTC or manufacturing environment. This role will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and providing key insights to drive business performance.
Essential Functions and Duties: Lead the development and management of financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning Analyze key financial metrics, including revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), gross margin, and customer acquisition costs (CAC) Provide insights into sales performance, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value (LTV) to support DTC growth strategies Partner with supply chain and operations teams to optimize inventory planning, production costs, and logistics expenses Conduct variance analysis and identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve financial performance Collaborate with marketing teams to evaluate return on ad spending (ROAS) and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive efficient customer acquisition Assist in strategic decision-making through scenario analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, preferably in a DTC, eCommerce, or manufacturing environment Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and forecasting Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus Basic understanding of DTC metrics such as CAC, LTV, ROAS, and conversion rates Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to non-financial stakeholders Why you want this position: Starting salary of $80K to $100K Work for a quickly growing, stable company with cutting edge quality products Generous PTO Medical, dental, vision insurance with portion paid by the company Optional HSA Totally transparent company with full accessibility to leadership.
