FP&A Analyst - APAC

 

As an FP&A Analyst - APAC, you will work closely with the Head of APAC FP&A, the APAC CFO and the broader APAC finance team to play a crucial part in supporting business growth in accordance with FNZ’s regional and global strategy. This will involve supporting the annual budgeting process for APAC, maintaining dynamic P&L and cash flow forecasting, assisting in the design and execution of various projects to support the industrialisation of key finance processes, and actively supporting and engaging with business stakeholders to achieve growth targets.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

·           Reporting to and supporting the APAC Head of FP&A to build strong partnerships with APAC Country and Functional Heads via dynamic and relevant financial analysis;

·           Supporting our annual budgeting process, maintaining various Excel forecast models and managing data inputs from relevant financial systems, reports and business functions, for monthly and annual forecasting cycles, ensuring that our APAC business units are well-prepared for success;

·           Assisting in the rolling forecast process for multiple APAC entities, including revenue, costs, cash flow and intercompany recharges, to keep our financial strategies aligned with our goals;

·           Assisting in the preparation of month-end management reporting packs and creating essential management information templates and reports that empower informed decision-making;

·           Taking part in regular client profitability analysis, providing valuable insights to optimise client relationships and business strategies;

·           Assisting in crafting financial analyses and models for both new and existing clients in partnership with FNZ’s commercial business function;

·           Analysing and evaluating the financial implications of potential M&A and inorganic growth opportunities as required;

·           Preparing ad hoc operational cost analysis to support various facets of our business operations;

·           Assisting in the tracking of costs and cost approvals via internal procurement systems; and

·           Planning and execution of identified finance initiatives to industrialise core processes across forecasting, client profitability, cost tracking and budgeting.

 

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate? 

 

·           2 to 3 years’ experience in a corporate/commercial/finance, consulting or investment banking environment.

·           CPA/CA preferable (though not a pre-requisite).

·           Advanced financial modelling, financial analysis, and accounting skills.

·           Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel with fluency in advanced formulas and functions. Prior experience of Excel modelling would be beneficial.

·           Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights

·           Independent, self-directing and delivery focused working style, including an ability to manage and execute on key, time sensitive projects and business initiatives

·           Superior analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

·           Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills.

·           Robust team communication skills, confident in dealing with internal and external clients.

·           Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic, changing environment.

·           Ability to pivot rapidly and flexibly across multiple finance related tasks, depending on priority.
