FP&A Analyst I

This onsite position is an analyst role reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at our MVW plant, with direct collaboration structure from lead plant analysts. This position and specific job functions are flexible based on the level of experience. This is a highly visible and challenging position working with all levels within the enterprise. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter who is extremely analytical and has excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple teams within the enterprise.

Responsibilities: 

Drive accountability and value-creating action through robust variance analysis, leveraging deep understanding of the manufacturing process and business drivers for area of responsibilityFacilitate business partnering, engagement, and communication between Operations and other business support groups to enhance operational and financial resultsSupport annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly updatesDevelop critical KPI targets based on prior trends and forward-looking action plans and drive accountability with KPI ownersScrutinize improvement project results and serve as key point of contact for project benefit results and forecastingDrive FP&A, Accounting, and Operations process improvements that result in standardization, efficiencies, and effectivenessDevelop business cases and financial support for capital appropriations and large-scale investmentsDevelop analysis and presentations to support plant and/or executive leadership including proactive and insightful analysis and commentary on enterprise resultsAssist, facilitate, and/or collaborate with North American Flatroll FP&A and Accounting closing and forecastingAdminister the project tracking system and reporting requirements

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field3+ years of experience with FP&A or other data/analysis intense field preferredExperience in Manufacturing or Industrial setting is a plusWell-developed financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial software applicationsExperience with Oracle ERP and/or OneStream is a plusExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and result-driven action-oriented mindsetAbility to collaborate and work independently in fast-paced environment
