Position Summary:

Regal Rexnord is looking for a dynamic person with 5+ years of experience in the area of finance and accounting. This position is responsible for supporting various corporate functions by assisting with the accounting close and financial reporting processes. This role will be responsible for generating and uploading journal entries, reconciling accounts as well as ad hoc reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Daily and monthly financial reporting within corporate guidelines and policies including accrual journal entries and reconciliations.Team lead for intercompany accounting, focused on identifying and reconciling intercompany balances with global partners.Point person for GL coding process for global freight spend.Create monthly financial reporting packages for review with Leadership.Organize Capex projects and accurately track progress and spend.Help identify and implement process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate with the Finance Manager for both internal and external audits. Maintain emphasis on controls and compliance in adherence with company policies.Special projects and other duties as required.

Professional Experience/Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration5+ years of business experience in Accounting / FinanceHighly organizedStrong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, adherence to procedures and policies, and continuous improvement.Self-motivated and results driven.Ability to think critically and problem solveKnowledge of month end close including journal entries, account reconciliations, auditing and SOX compliance.Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to effectively communicate with all levelsHigh level of proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)Knowledge of Oracle/SAP will be added advantage.Strong interpersonal skills, team player and collaborative
