JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Analyst III will lead financial deliverables, contribute to overall department goals and assist in onboarding of new employees. Successful employees will be eager to solve problems, be willing to support other teams, communicate with confidence on financial matters, and understand as well as apply organizational goals.
JOB DUTIES
Conduct strategic financial analysis Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators in all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance Maintain and cloud based financial forecasting system Ad-Hoc Reporting and Analysis Quarterly and Monthly Financial reports Promote cohesiveness in the office environment Support day-to-day operations and client advocacy Collaborate with stakeholders regarding delivery of services, as needed, based on program requirements Possess and utilize a thorough understanding of financial statements and CDCN financial structure Conduct advanced reporting and oversight activities Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understand ROI in operations and investments Develop financial models and analyses to support business operations Use SQL server to mine relevant financial and statistical data to leverage in analysis Effective written and verbal communication Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients Approach business problems with a solution-oriented mindset Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures Demonstrate dependability Demonstrate effective problem solving and decision-making skills Lead and execute special projects Maintain necessary skills and knowledge to coordinate work flow Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of projects Participate in professional development and training activities Prioritize and multitask effectively Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree required – relevant field preferred Master’s degree, applicable professional certifications preferred 3-5 years’ experience preferred Be able to successfully pass a background screeningEmployees must provide their own reliable internet if working a remote/hybrid position
