FP&A Expert

 

 

What this position is about - Purpose: 

 

In this position you will ensure the performance of planning, forecasting and analysis entity processes in line with corporate requirements plus taking care for simplification and optimisation of these processes.

 

What will you do - Responsibilities: 
 

AP/LE Planning

           Ensure that JTI SA entity planning processes (AP and LE) are performed in line with corporate instructions.

           This includes:

Preparation of planning instructions to all entities and markets having transactions with JTI SA (80+ Direct Sales markets, 120+ Intercompany) and control over execution Consolidation and analysis of the submissions from entities and markets. Submission of the consolidated figure into corporate planning system GPM Preparation of analytical reports for corporate FP&A and JTI SA CFO

 

Forecasting for Treasury

Prepare and submit 12 months cash flow forecast and bi-weekly liquidity forecasts as per corporate treasury instructions

 

Review of AP/LE planning process

Review the process of current planning cycles (described above) and identify improvement opportunities: Review the threshold for variance analysis aiming to reduce the number of unnecessary analysis and to improve the quality of analysis for significant items Identify items, which can be passed to other functions for planning and analysis purpose and work with the stakeholders on implementation

 

Cross-functional projects

Participate in the review of closing process performed by Controlling & Reporting group and identify and implement efficiencies Review reports, identify duplications and suggest reports, which can serve both groups purposes Assist in the revision of roles and responsibilities within the department  aiming to ensure adequate resources for actuals and planning processes via job sharing

 

 J-SOX and audit support

Play liaison role with audit team (internal and external) on any demands and queries. Review and follow up of J-Sox implementation and controls related to the FP&A team. Participates in the finance management team and supports the organization in all financial aspects

 

Who are we looking for - Requirements: 

 

University degree in Accounting or Finance. Previous experience with JTI and FP&A are desirable Proficiency in English is required Strong working knowledge of systems such as SAP, BWP, Excel, and Power BI. Understanding of finance organisational architecture, including CC, PC, product costing, P2P, and O2C processes will be an asset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good understanding of tax and regulations, including CIT, Transfer Pricing, PE, Entity Structures, and Indirect Tax Excellent communication skills, a strong personality, and a collaborative mindset—acting as both a team player and a business partner to operations
