What You’ll Do:

As an intern at U.S. Xpress, you will receive exciting developmental opportunities while gaining hands-on experience. You will assist the Financial Planning and Analysis team with performance of tasks and duties including financial analysis projects, data gathering, manipulation, summarization and analysis of financial reports, sales activity, trends, and opportunities.  

Duties may include:

Preparing (or assisting in preparing) regularly scheduled and ad-hoc corporate and customer reports Performing basic SQL queries to support business needs Reviewing (or assisting in reviewing) reports prior to distribution to verify accuracy Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting for management and internal departments Supporting the development of new reports as needed Learning about key business drivers and their relation to financials Building technical and analysis skills Other duties as assigned
