The FP&A function takes ownership for the consolidation and interpretation of financial data, the coordination and management of financial reporting (including the provision of insight, analysis and the accurate and timely delivery of end market budgets, management accounts and financial accounts) and the monitoring of financial risks.

The market is sophisticated, comprising of four business divisions units and a corporate center. The role has high complexity, requiring strong business partnering capabilities and management of team and a number of partners at various levels of seniority. The Manager will work with and advise senior Finance members in the market and will liaise with external vendors.  In addition, the role will work very closely with Shared Services teams, the market’s Financial Systems team and other members of the NAM A&P Finance team. 

The role                   

As a key member of the North America Finance team, the FP&A Junior Manager partners with Finance and Commercial teams to optimize spend management and efficiency. This role reports to the North America A&P Manager.

Responsibilities include:

Budgeting & Forecasting: Coordinate and lead Trade Spend & Advertising&Promotions budgets.

Financial Analysis & Control: Analyze spend trends, identify exceptions, and drive improvements.

Business Partnering: Collaborate with partners, ensuring compliance and financial integrity.

Operational Efficiency: Work closely with Shared Services, Financial Systems, and other teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle senior in-market partners.

Lead A&P controls and efficiency for Brand, Customer Marketing, and Corporate A&P spend.

Conduct monthly budget reviews and align on O&R submissions.

Support BPM reviews and drive spend optimization.

Ensure compliance and maintain a strong financial control environment.

About you

Degree in Finance or Business or Accounting – A proven foundation to drive financial excellence.

4-6 years of experience – Ideally in FP&A or Financial Controlling within a multinational environment.

Proven financial expertise – Consistent track record in budgeting, forecasting, and spend management.

Business partnering skills – Ability to build trust, influence partners, and drive strategic conversations.

Tech-savvy finance pro – Proficiency in SAP FI/CO and advanced Excel skills.

Sharp critical thinker – Problem-solving approach with a passion for operational improvement and efficiency.

Excellent communication – Strong verbal and written English skills to collaborate across teams.

Proactive & adaptable – A self-starter with a flexible, inquisitive, and hands-on approach.
