We’re looking to offer a salary of circa £75,000 for this role. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
Function as the key business partner to IT leadership, managing all financial requirements including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, corporate IT project accounting and ad-hoc analysis Lead the global IT monthly operating review process through the preparation of schedules and presentations for senior management that clearly communicate performance, issues, status updates and solutions Manage the consolidation of IT Capex reporting, providing a view of global IT capex for monthly reviews and quarterly reviews, as well as lead the process of creating consistent accounting for capex across GXO Take the lead on IT projects, pricing, allocations and recovery of IT costs to the customer Developing strong working relationships with senior individuals across the GXO IT and Finance organisations, including senior individuals in Operations and regional FP&A
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Full financial certification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent A strong track record in financial planning and analysis supporting leadership teams, including budgeting and forecasting experience and cost management (if you have experience in IT finance, this would be a bonus) Solid working knowledge of ERP systems (such as Oracle), HFM, financial planning software and business intelligence technologies The ability to effectively build strong working relationships with geographically dispersed stakeholders up to executive level Solid drive to seek continuous improvement in reports and processes during companywide growth and expansion
