The FP&A Leader will oversee all Financial Planning and Analysis operations within the Perú market for Newell Brands. This role is responsible for implementing financial strategies, conducting thorough analysis, and ensuring the accuracy of financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making by senior management. The FP&A Leader will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to align financial objectives with overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Budgeting: Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, ensuring it aligns with corporate goals and strategic initiatives. Prepare and present financial forecasts and variance analyses to senior management, highlighting key trends and business drivers. Performance Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to assess business performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth opportunities. Monitor operational metrics and KPIs, providing actionable insights to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. Reporting and Compliance: Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards. Strategic Support: Provide financial insights to support strategic initiatives, product launches, and market expansion efforts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and supply chain, to integrate financial considerations into operational decisions. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a key point of contact for financial inquiries from internal stakeholders and external partners. Present financial data and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, supporting effective decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred. Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within a multinational company. Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision-makers. Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with financial software systems is a plus. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.
Work Environment: This position operates in an office environment, and some travel may be required for meetings.
