About the team

We’re a small but mighty Finance team that loves being in the mix—helping our partners across the business make smarter, faster decisions. We’re not just about budgets and forecasts; we’re about clarity, impact, and making sense of a fast-moving environment.

As our business grows and evolves, we're building stronger connections between Finance and teams like DTC, Marketing, and our newly forming Brand function. This role is all about embedding finance where it matters most—closer to the work, the people, and the consumer.

About the role

We’re looking for a FP&A Manager to support our DTC, Marketing, and Brand teams on Lume & Mando. This is a great fit for someone who likes building, not just maintaining—someone who can bring financial structure to creative teams, ask the right questions, and figure things out in a fast-changing environment.

You’ll help shape how we think about marketing investment, promotion strategy, and brand development. You’ll be assessing overall marketing efficiency, leading the financial side of new product launches, and building out the finance framework for a brand team that’s just getting started.

What you will accomplish

Partner with Marketing and Brand teams to evaluate overall ROI on marketing spend and guide investment decisions.

Work with DTC  teams to assess the performance of sales strategies and promotions, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and margin.

Support Brand as it scales—helping set up reporting, processes, and financial frameworks that work for a creative, fast-moving team.

Lead the finance side of New Product Innovation (NPI)—building models, pressure-testing assumptions, and partnering cross-functionally through launch planning.

Help the DTC team interpret what financial data is telling us about consumer behavior and channel performance.

Challenge assumptions in revenue planning, bringing a critical lens and identifying risks or gaps.

Build tools and reporting that help business partners make confident, informed decisions—without overcomplicating things.

Take ownership of your workstream, define your own roadmap, and adapt as priorities shift.

This should describe you

You have 5+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering—ideally in a start up, consumer products or DTC environment.

You’re not afraid of a little ambiguity and enjoy figuring out structure where there isn’t much yet.

You know how to bring financial clarity to teams who think in ideas and stories, not just numbers.

You’re comfortable owning projects end-to-end and managing your time independently.

You enjoy partnering with marketing and brand teams, and you know how to balance creative ambition with financial discipline.

You’re solid in Excel or Google Sheets, and you’ve worked with tools like SAP, SAP Analytics Cloud, Looker, or Tableau (or can learn quickly).

You ask thoughtful questions, communicate clearly, and enjoy working across functions and teams.

Here's who you'll work with

DTC Team: To help interpret performance trends, consumer insights, and how the channel is evolving.

Brand, Growth Marketing & Creative Teams: To guide overall spend decisions, set up reporting, and bring financial insight to creative plans.

R&D & Product Development Teams: To lead the financial work on new product launches, from early-stage assumptions through launch.

Finance Team: To stay aligned on company-wide planning cycles while helping build out new capability areas.

Reports to the Head of Finance for Lume & Mando, and is part of the broader Finance teams supporting Mammoth Brands.
