Key Responsibilities:
Lead critical financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, analysis, and reporting of costs and headcount, while partnering with key departments to understand and assess assumptions
Support month-end close cycles, working with accounting teams as needed to ensure an accurate and timely financial close, with strict adherence to regional and global deadlines
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, dashboards, and analyses including all key performance metrics
Review, analyze, and monitor financial performance, key performance metrics, and operational trends, providing insights to various stakeholders
Synthesize information from multiple sources to understand key revenue and cost drivers, translate insights into actionable recommendations
Work closely with Business Units in shaping the best FP&A practices to drive continuous improvement of financial processes and systems by leveraging technology and automation where possible
About you:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
MBA, CFA, CPA or other advanced designation is an asset
5+ years in financial planning & analysis or related field
Excellent knowledge of Excel is required
Knowledge of SAP & PBI is an asset
Strong understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, key financial metrics
Able to synthesize and analyze large quantities of data to create useful information and concise analyses
Critical and logical thinking and a continuous improvement mindset
