Oversee financial analysis in support of major projects within Financial Strategy area, including Pricing and Financial Planning & Analysis as well as the development of qualitative and quantitative economic and financial analyses for corporate-wide use.Manage and provide direction to a team of analysts responsible for supporting SRP's investment decision-making processes. Oversee the administration of SRP's capital prioritization program. **What You'll Do** + Work closely with Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to analyze and communicate SRP's actual and forecasted financial performance to Senior Leadership, GM Staff, and Joint President/GM Staff, including monthly financial results presentations to reflect key financial data, including retail and wholesale margin, direct cost and capital spending, and comparisons to key metrics developed for Employee Performance Incentive Compensation (EPIC) plan. + Provide reports for management on the overall performance of segments and develop metrics to measure various characteristics of the business. + Provide analytical support to Financial Strategy management for administration of SRP's captial prioritization program through the development of economic value frameworks, business care evaluation, designing and conducting corporate training, and creation of reports and analysis to support the Capital Governance Committee. + Oversee the analysis of historical financial performance, operations and market information using business software packages and statistical software tools, and develop models to predict future outcomes. Work often requires the analysis of large sets of datasets using Copperleaf, SAP, Excel, MCR or SQL modeling. + Oversee analytical support as needed throughout the Financial Services organization. Activities could include cash flow analysis, liquidity calculations, long term borrowing plans, price process and borrowing process support. + Responsible for the daily tasks of the group by aligning projects with business goals, managing employees, achieving milestones, and communicating with upper management. + Oversee the administration of SRP's capital prioritization program through the development of economic value frameworks, business care evaluation,designing and conducting corporate training, and creations of reports and analysis to support the Capital Governance Committee and GM Staff. + Lead the establishment and implementation of key financial metrics in support of investment decision-making processes, including corporate discount rate, weighted average cost of capital, and related concepts. **What It Takes To Succeed** + Excellent oral and written communication skills. + Ability to provide accurate, timely and concrete analysis and recommendations to executive management. + Knowledge of electric utility economics. + Excellent organizational and project management skills. **Experience** Minimum of 8 years cumulative and progressive professional experience. **Education** Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment. **Hybrid Workplace** SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
