FP&A Manager
Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis Job Description This role reports to the Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting. The primary responsibilities include overseeing financial analysis, forecasting, operating plans, and long-range financial planning processes. The role requires leading monthly management reporting processes, driving improvements in financial processes and reporting capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting the establishment and delivery of financial objectives. Responsibilities + Manage and oversee the financial analysis, forecast, operating plan, and long-range financial planning processes. + Lead the monthly management reporting process, including variance analysis of data submissions from multiple Business Units and loading of forecast data and month-end deliverables into applicable consolidation systems. + Drive improvements in financial processes, analytical reviews, and reporting capabilities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with strategic objectives. + Support processes for establishing, measuring, and delivering upon financial objectives; provide information and analysis to support proactive management decision-making. + Internal Financial Reporting: Review submitted information, coordinate with regional and Business Unit staff, perform financial analysis, and prepare the monthly executive reporting packages. + Assist with executive-level presentations for monthly/quarterly business reviews, annual operating plan, and annual strategic plan. + Own processes impacting the annual strategic and operating plans, including managing planning meetings, loading centralized adjustments, and obtaining alignment on plan assumptions and financial targets. + Assist the Director of Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting, Corporate Controller, and CFO with special projects as needed. + Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, as well as applicable local statutory and regulatory requirements. Essential Skills + 2+ years of leadership experience within FP&A, managing responsibilities such as reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. + Experience working in a large corporation with a budget of $1 billion or more. + In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial statement analysis, and management reporting. + Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a results-driven mindset. + Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with multinational businesses. + Proficiency with financial systems such as Hyperion and/or SAP BPC. + Strong overall business acumen. + Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. + Effective team player who interacts well with others. + Strong integrity and ethics. Work Environment The role requires working onsite from Monday through Friday, 8-5pm, with flexibility on start and stop times if needed. The position involves working closely with senior leadership and making presentations. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
