FP&A Manager (CDD)

As Group Brand Companies BP&A Manager, she/he will report to the Group Brand Companies & Operations Controlling Director, part of the broader Group Business Performance team. Integrated into a 4 people team, she/he is contributing to the monitoring of the Group financial performance (P&L) and the close monitoring of his/her scope of responsibility (Brand Companies = affiliates in charge of manufacturing Pernod Ricard products) thanks to a deep sense of analysis and close communication with affiliates, an understanding of Business challenges, a participation to Group projects and initiatives, a strong collaboration with other HQ departments supporting Brand companies, and a good ability to present to Senior and Top management. The overarching objective is to support the Group value creation strategy by enhancing profitability (P&L and Cash).

She/he will complete the following missions:

Roles and responsibilities:

Mission 1: Consolidation, restitution and presentation of the monthly P&L reporting and quarterly Rolling Forecast

Understand and follow up of 6 Brand Companies P&Ls, notably SG&A/structure costs, in close coordination with Finance teamsResponsible for consolidating data (actual, rolling forecast, etc.) regarding these 6 Brand Companies: ensures the respect of deadlines, the accuracy and consistency of financial information (respect of Group accounting guidelines), and the quality of business analyses.Contribute to monthly report to Executive Committee and Group Global Brands Director by providing a clear analysis of the financial situationBuild some forward-looking analysis to recommend strategic resources allocations and P&L arbitrages to Top management, leveraging historical performance, knowledge of affiliates business and Group strategyContribute to the rolling forecast/plan process (from planning and instructions to final presentation for the Board)Responsible for preparing presentations to top management (ExCom, ELT, Board…) with accurate data, sharp analyses and key take-aways

Mission 2: Partner with Brand Companies on business and financial performance monitoring

Monthly analysis of his/her scope of responsibilitiesImplementation of all optimization projects and changes in reporting (new appendix, new account, etc…) in line with Group standards and requirementsContinuous improvement of reporting comments quality and relevance (template, content, feedback to affiliates…)Support to Brand Companies regarding instructions, calendar, reporting content, rolling forecast…Close follow up of risks and opportunities, challenge affiliates on forecast accuracy and targets achievementMonthly physical or remote reviews with his/her affiliates on past and future performanceShare best practices (financial, technical…) among affiliates

Mission 3: Leading transversal project and preparation of ad hoc analysis to support decision making

Provide Senior and Top Management and Board of Directors with ad hoc and value-adding analysis to help them monitor Group performance: Group Business Plan, Structure costs analysis, Innovation project, ROI…Take part in or lead missions/tasks together with other departments, such as Operation, Tax (transfer prices), Polaris reporting tool, M&A, consolidation (IFRS implementation)Take part in the functional development of the information system used by Group Management Control

Mission 4: Participate to the Group Financial Digital Transformation roadmap by leading or supporting specific projects

Involved in some Transformation projects, e.g. Management Cycle, Smart Close, PowerBi (Datalens) or Polaris reporting tool improvements: leveraging HQ and operational experience, propose some improvements (tools, WoW, processes), challenge the status quo and participate actively to the dedicated workshops to issue recommendations and action plan

Skills required:

Technical skills

Strong knowledge of accounting, finance and IFRSExpert in Excel, VBA is a plusCapacity to quickly build some forward-looking modelsKnowledge of Pernod Ricard management processes and toolsReady to leverage new technologies such as Tagetik (Polaris)Basic knowledge of statutory consolidation and cash generation

Management skills

Profile required:

Education required: Engineer's school/ Business school/ Equivalent University DegreeWork experience required: 6-7 years in leading Audit Consulting Firm or 3-4 years in a leading Audit Consulting Firm + 3-4 years of experience as Business Analyst Senior / Manager, if possible in the FMCG sector.Skills acquired in the previous professional experience: methodological tools and good technical bases (accounting, finance, and consolidation)
