Description We are looking for a dedicated FP& A Manager/Supervisor to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Rochester, New York. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights and support strategic initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in financial planning and analysis to make a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with department leaders to identify key business drivers and align financial strategies with organizational objectives.
• Enhance financial and operational reporting by adopting advanced technological solutions.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes with a focus on improving efficiency and automation.
• Evaluate customer profitability and behavioral trends to uncover growth opportunities and optimize margins.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, capital investments, and organic growth.
• Prepare internal and external reports and provide ad-hoc analysis across branches, product lines, customer segments, and operational units.
• Assist in implementing data-driven solutions to improve business performance and decision-making processes.
• Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports to support organizational goals.
• Collaborate on developing KPIs and operational benchmarks to measure success across various departments. Requirements • Proficiency in financial tools such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, and enterprise performance management (EPM) systems.
• Strong understanding of CRM platforms and data mining techniques.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and capital management strategies.
• Experience in developing KPIs and reporting frameworks.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets to drive actionable insights.
• Proven track record of contributing to strategic initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
