FP&A Partner (Senior Manager)
Overview:

Six Flags is seeking a multilocation FP&A Partner (Senior Manager) reporting to the Regional Director of FP&A and will be the lead finance partner for a collection of parks within their respective region. This FP&A Partner will collaborate with and advise the park GMs and park leadership teams to drive effective decision-making.


This will include long-range planning, annual planning, forecasting, and capital planning to facilitate decisions that lead to a better allocation of company resources and that ensures company priorities and initiatives are properly funded.

Salary Details: $110,000 annually up to $160,000 annually based on relevant experience, plus bonus


Responsibilities:Assist and report to the Regional Director of FP&A in the development of long-range plans, annual plans, forecasts, and capital plans by conducting in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis, and staying up to date on industry, park, and economic trends.Support Regional Leadership activities aimed at driving business results through thought partnership, leading day-to-day analytical activities, and conducting cost-benefit type of analysis related to park-level decisions.Support park leadership teams and build the long-range plans, annual plans, forecasting, and capital planning processes for each of the parks within their group.Coordinate with Accounting Shared Services Leadership to ensure both timely and accurate financial reporting and the timely resolution of day-to-day accounting issues that impact park operations.Collaborate with the Business Intelligence function and leverage their technological platforms to drive data-driven decision-making.Ability to direct and supervise staff (1 to 2 per park group) supporting park operationsAssist in the transition to a fully-integrated enterprise performance management system to facilitate planning and forecasting processes that scale with the business.Perform other property-based finance duties as assigned
Qualifications:A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration from an accredited
four-year college or university, with CPA, CMA, MBA or similar designation preferred 7 years of combined public accounting, consulting, and industry related experience with progressive departmental responsibilitiesMultilocation, multi-departmental experience or equivalent preferred Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to go upwards and downwards  Knowledge of and experience with Oracle suite of financial products, with an emphasis on Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Hyperion, Fusion, and JDE systems Demonstrated background in financial analysis and modeling, with experience working on operations of varying levels of scale preferred Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring the ability to learn new systems, facilitate new system adoption, and roll-out new business processes Effective in an office or remote work environment Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test and background check, which may include, but is not limited to credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, pursuant to Company policy
