Pratt & Whitney has an immediate onsite opportunity within the Military Engines Financial Planning and Analysis Team for a Financial Planning & Analysis Principal Specialist located onsite at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

The ideal candidate is an energetic, intuitive, self-starter interested in supporting and improving the reporting and forecasting processes for the Military Engines (ME) business.

What You Will Do:

- Cashflow and inventory forecasting.

- Analyze and understand activity in key accounts.

- Accounts Receivable overdue monitoring.

- Manage and maintain monthly balance sheet reporting; inclusive of cash, Accounts Receivable, inventory, and capital.

- Work closely with the programs to achieve annual targets.

- Brief executive leadership on key analysis and insights.

- Work with ME programs on annual Long Range Planning (LRP).

- Drive process improvement leading to leaner and more efficient financial reporting.

- Support other team members as required.

- Perform special projects and ad hoc analysis as required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance; OR an advanced degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of experience in accounting or finance.

- Working knowledge of SAP and SAP/Business Warehouse.

- Strong computer proficiency including MS Excel and PowerPoint.

- U.S. Citizenship is required due to program requirements.

- Experience in OneStream software.

- Results focused and able to balance competing and changing priorities.

- Above average teamwork and communication skills.

- Excellent analytical skills including variance analysis (intellectual inquisitiveness).

This role is:

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

*This requisition is eligible for relocation and an employee referral award.  ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
