Your Role
To coordinate and provide analysis of the monthly internal management performance results and completion of the monthly management reporting, including Management Profit and Loss Statements, detailed Production, Commission and Expense analysis/commentary, Distribution Channel and Market Segmentation Analysis and Reporting. This involves the coordination and production of regular forecasts and the Annual Business Plan for the Australian and New Zealand Operations. You will also manage, mentor and support a small team of 3 direct reports. 

Your Responsibilities

Produce and analyse full monthly Profit and Loss Statements and commentary supporting the key performance indicators for Local, Regional and Chubb Overseas General (COG) reporting requirements. This includes Production, Acquisition Cost and Expense reporting framework management.  Produce a monthly internal management reporting pack to support the business departments and senior management in understanding the key drivers of the results and insight into the lead indicators of the business results going forward. This includes preparation of the monthly Production Activity Report, Distribution Reporting, Branch Profitability Analysis and Market Segmentation Reporting for both the Australian and New Zealand businesses. Maintain monthly reconciliations of all assigned Balance Sheet accounts with appropriate supporting documentation. Take lead role in the coordination and delivery of the Premium production, acquisition cost  and expenses Business Plan for the Australian and New Zealand businesses.  Maintain the TM1 System records in respect of the production and commissions forecasts and develop TM1 management reports to meet the needs of the business and management as and when required. Provide business partnering role in support and assistance with the development of any ad-hoc business reports to support senior management and the business in understanding the performance results and assist in the decision making. Implement continuous process improvements to drive process efficiencies and effectiveness in all areas of responsibility.
 

Your Skills & Experience

Degree qualified in Accounting and/or Financial Management with full CPA/CA membership status.7 – 10 years of commercial experience including responsibility across Senior Management Accounting/Reporting and/or FP&A role. 2 - 3 years of Insurance industry experience is desirableExperience with TM1 System, PeopleSoft, Meridian, Genius, Cognos, Alteryx applications and demonstrated ability to have used a BI tools (such as Qlik or Tableau).Deadline driven, attention to detail, highly analytical, adapt a flexible approach to meet the needs of the business and ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to deal with both internal and external clients at all levels in the business. Experience managing and coaching a team would be beneficial
