FPGA Engineer - Hilliard, OH - Onsite

We are actively seeking an FPGA engineer to support work in the defense and aerospace industry. The FPGA / digital engineer will design and develop custom high-speed digital signal-processing cards and firmware for next generation precision tracking radars and radar cross section (RCS) measurement systems! The work will require candidates to be onsite and local to Columbus, OH.

Job Responsibilities:

Capture design requirements.Design and develop digital subsystems.Perform VDHL/Verilog firmware development.Collaborate with embedded software engineers to develop architectures.Perform hardware-in-the-loop testing.Generate product documentation (Interface Control Documents, theory of operation, etc.)

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similarMust be eligible to obtain and maintain DOD Clearance.1+ years of professional experience with Xilinx or Altera/Intel FPGA development. If entry level, must have FPGA/VHDL related internships or co-op experience.1+ years of professional working experience with VHDL ProgrammingLogic simulation experience (e.g. Vivado, Aldec, etc.)About Actalent
