Key Responsibilities
Plan and develop architecture and algorithms for system control of Digital Lithography and Metrology tools for the Advanced Packaging market, centering on the use of FPGAs and related custom hardware
Perform algorithmic concept and feasibility studies as needed, including problem analysis, data gathering, literature review, concept selection and evaluation and implementation constrains
Document algorithmic development, plan and accompany implementation, integration and testing of an algorithmic module, flow or package
Interact with internal and external customers to analyze gaps, define and plan activities, collect data and accompany integration, testing and proliferation of algorithmic solutions
Understand and act according to system and applicative environment regarding module, flow or package development. Take part in system definitions
Act as a technical tutor and instructor regarding areas of expertise. Guide algorithm developers working with him on same module, flow or package
Evaluate new technology and analyze competitor's technology
Qualifications
Regarded as the technical expert in FPGA design
Minimum 5 years experience designing FPGA code to control digital lithography systems
Demonstrates in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own discipline and broad knowledge of related disciplines
Anticipates business and regulatory issues; recommends product, process or service improvements
Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution
Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business; requires conceptual and innovative thinking to develop solutions
Impacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general functional policies and industry guidelines
Communicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections and persuades others, often at senior levels, to adopt a different point of view

$192,000.00 - $264,000.00The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
