Our Designers work directly with other Design staff, Project Coordinators and Structural Engineers and must be committed to high-quality work, technical skills, and attention to detail in order to complete projects in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will able to work independently and as a team member, have strong time management skills, Residential Structural Frame and TDI/Windstorm knowledge, and be able to prioritize and concurrently work on multiple projects and maintain deadlines. At this time, our main candidate will have a strong understanding of Residential and Commercial Frame w/TDI Designs. They will possess the ability to read, understand and draw frame details. As well as, take existing details with or without redlines and modify to match existing conditions. Candidate will use architectural plans, structural frame and wind bracing plans to create plans. Requirements: + 2+ years of Frame Design withTDI/Windstorm experience + Minimum of High School Diploma, Technical Certificate or Associate of Applied Science in Design related field preferred. + AutoCAD proficiency required + Detail-oriented + Knowledge in Residential Construction is a plus + Self-starting work ethic + Self-motivated + Takes initiative + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and proven ability to learn new software programs The company has excellent benefits.
